If your long-term medication has been approved on a repeat prescription basis you can order in one of the following ways:
- In person - drop your repeat slip in the boxes provided at both surgeries with the required items clearly marked.
- By post - send it to us enclosing a stamped addressed envelope if you want it posted back to you.
- By email - to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Online - follow the link at the top of this page once you have registered in person at the surgery.
- Please note, to avoid errors requests will not be taken over the telephone.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or nurse practitioner at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions. You may not always need to come to surgery for your review, your request could be dealt with by telephone.
Please allow 3 full working days (excluding Weekends and Bank Holidays) for your prescription to be ready for collection from either surgery, please note that this time does not include sending prescriptions manually across to individual pharmacies. If your prescription is not on repeat it may take longer for your request to be authorised Please be aware of this and ensure you put your request in to the surgery in good time. If you are not signed up for electronic prescribing, some pharmacies only collect paper prescriptions from the practices on a weekly basis. Please bare this in mind when requesting repeat prescriptions.
