Tracy Humm NOCN 3

Janet Belton NOCN 3

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement, wound dressings and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one. Patients aged 40-74 are entitled to a free NHS Health Check. An appointment for this can be made with one of our Health Care Assistants.

Our Health Care Assistants are now trained to do the new Diabetes Annual Reviews.
