The practice management team is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology.
The practice management support the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
We hope that during your time with the surgery you always receive the best possible care. However should you have a complaint at any time please ensure you ask to speak to a Reception Supervisor who should be able to resolve the issue for you. If not, please put all the details in writing and send for the attention of the Patient Liaison Officer who will deal with this in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. Receptionists have been asked by the Doctors to take details of your problem- this is in order to make sure that you are directed to the most appropriate clinitian in the shortest possible timeframe.
Please answer their questions as honestly as you can. They also provide information on services and results and direct you to the right service depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses.
